RL Revshirt

Material: 52% Polyester + 48% Cotton

This REV shirt is hip-length with long sleeves. It features a classic collar, concealed buttons at the front, a visible button at the center front, and buttons at the cuffs and sides with a beveled design. The left side of the shirt is adorned with an embroidered design of an abstract artwork inspired by Martin Rev.

This lightweight, classic poplin fabric is soft to the touch and has a washed finish.

This fabric is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, meaning that no harmful chemicals are used in the cultivation of this natural fiber, thus protecting our soil, air, and water from pollution.

This item is part of a collaboration between RICK OWENS and the New York punk duo SUICIDEBAND OFFICIAL and includes a signed tag inside.

This band pioneered the use of minimalist electronic instruments in the 1970s. Lead singer Alan Vega and musician Martin Rev's raw, unsettling vocals and threatening, chaotic live performances drew hostility early on—they were seen as outcasts among their contemporaries and subjected to widespread denigration—yet their influence has been remarkable over the decades. I used their song "CHEEE" in some of my earliest fashion shows, and now, with the band's support, I've developed a capsule collection that draws inspiration from their distressed, deconstructed leather, custom jackets, and sportswear designs.
